Birgitte Due Madsen is a Danish artist and designer whose works are defined by a delicate interplay with different dimensions of a material, light and shadow. Materials such as gypsum, concrete and stone, among others, transform in her hands into surprising, three-dimensional entities, created not only to be looked at but to be experienced with all senses.
