Varier

Varier is a Norwegian furniture brand best known for its chairs that encourage natural movement. Rooted in the belief that motion is key to better wellbeing – both at home and in the workplace – Varier designs seating that intuitively follows the body’s movements and supports dynamic, active sitting.

The collection includes several iconic models from the 1970s and 1980s, such as the Variable kneeling chair by Peter Opsvik, launched in 1979. These designs challenged the conventions of Scandinavian design and introduced a new, movement-focused approach to seating.
